a senior executive in a large information technology company turned
to Ventana for help. Ventana quickly developed a model that captured
the critical issues. Using readily available data, Ventana demonstrated
the magnitude and nature of the ripple effects of different prospective
actions. This work helped clarify the implications for corporate
revenue and shareholder value of actions taken by different business
units. This was, in turn, used as a thought-piece on strategic direction,
